Job Responsibilities:
* Manages, plans, organizes, and directs all employees assigned to them.
* Manages and implements security and loss prevention procedures.
* Prepares and manages safety procedures in accordance with Company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
* Prepares and implements action plans to ensure the service center achieves planned productivity, load average, cube utilization, and service targets.
* Works with Central Dispatch to develop a linehaul plan to effectively and efficiently move freight to destinations within Company service standards.

Duty Description:
* Responsible for maintaining company’s financial reporting systems, general ledger systems, and associated business processes with focus in managing gross profits, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and operation related accounts.
* Participate in close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information and submission of deliverables.
* Complete hands on account reconciliations, analytics, report preparation as assigned by controller.

* Assist in budgeting process and external reporting.

* Other duties as assigned by CFO and Controller.
Qualification:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA required.
* Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards along with technical accounting expertise including accrual accounting, journal entries, account reconciliation and financial statement analysis and preparation.
* 7–10 years in corporate accounting.
* 4+ years in team leadership experience.
* Experience in COGNOS, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics is a major plus.
* Advanced experience in Excel.
* Work schedule is in-office (non-remote) and work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
