The Lead Operator is responsible for training and overseeing the daily activities of Operators and solving complex operations problems and performing maintenance/operations activities at water treatment facilities.
Grade IV Tennessee Water Operator's License or ability to obtain reciprocity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Interacts with Manager to ensure proper operation of the facility assuring safety and compliance.
* Manages day-to-day activities of treatment facilities operation.
* Allocates work and provides technical direction, assistance and training to other personnel.
* Ensures that all SOPs are followed, and DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met.
Makes recommendations for improving SOPs.
* Interacts with contract laboratories to ensure proper reporting limits and any QA/QC issues
* Trains employees on proper plant operations, repair and installation techniques, SOPs and safe work practices.
* Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years water/wastewater experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Arbetsuppgifter och ansvar
Du får en utvecklande och spännande roll där du hanterar kundkontakter via telefon, mail och chatt. Rollen innebär att ta emot inkommande samtal gällande våra Inrikes/utrikes produkter från våra företagskunder och privatpersoner. Lära sig att använda våra system för att på bästa sätt ge service och snabb problemlösning.
Vi arbetar också nära övriga funktioner inom Kundservice samt DHL Freight i stort, detta för att stärka banden och samarbetet inom DHL Freight i syfte för att arbeta med ständiga förbättringar.

What will you do?
* Analyzes & make repairs on electrical (460volts), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
* Maintain inventory of spare parts for area of focus
* Maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments
* Review production schedule and make equipment changes as needed
* Troubleshoot and test equipment to check operations
* Perform scheduled maintenance/predictive maintenance & emergency repairs, as needed
* Work on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment
* Work with Production Supervisors to modify/change
* Report findings to supervisor
* Work on miscellaneous facility improvement projects, as needed
