Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Plan and lead individual, small, and large group resident activities.
* Support effective communication among staff, residents, families, government agencies, and the public.
* Participate in community and facility planning to meet the needs and interests of residents and their families.
* Assist in creating and maintaining monthly activity calendars and attendance records.
* Contribute to the development of resident activity care plans and assessments.
* Coordinate transportation for residents for outings, appointments, and discharges as needed.
* Help design a diverse monthly activity schedule, including group events, outings, and in-room programs for bed-bound or isolated residents.
* Encourage resident engagement in self-directed activities by providing necessary materials, including accessible formats like Braille or audiobooks.
* Assist with documentation, including assessments and quarterly progress notes.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the Activity Department.
What We're Looking For:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Preferable one-year experience in a long-term care facility.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
* Creative, organized, and enthusiastic with the ability to lead both group and one-on-one activities.
