Ardurra is seeking a Transportation Engineer I to join our team in Orlando, FL location!
Our Transportation team offers design capabilities ranging from complex multilevel interchanges to urban arterial reconstruction to complete streets for our clients.
Primary Function:
Under general supervision, performs assignments of limited scope which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related design engineering tasks.
Assignments involve some unusual or difficult problems requiring job knowledge and abilities beyond entry level.
Primary Duties:
Ardurra is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our transportation team in the role of Engineer I.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of outstanding seasoned professionals on exciting and challenging projects that improve the quality of life in our communities.
Your primary duties may include:
* Assist Project Engineers in the design and development of roadway and highway construction contract plans using the latest CADD software, including MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
* Assist in the identification of construction pay items and computation of quantities and opinions of costs.
* Assist in the preparation of construction specifications and specification packages.
* Develop and analyze feasible design alternatives comparing parameters, such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements, impacts on existing utilities, constructability, and construction cost.
* Perform standard computations and analysis and research assignments.
* Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members.
* Prepare letters, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, power point presentations, and project schedules.
* Document design decisions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
* Engineer Intern Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
* 0-2 years of experience.
* Some experience with CADD software is preferred.

This individual will be responsible for product loading and storage operations.
The assigned work is outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
The Loader Operator works 12-hour shifts (6:00-6:00) on a 4-5-5 rotation, which consists of 4 days on, 5 off, 5 nights on, 4 off, 5 days on, 5 off.
This role will occasionally need to respond to callouts and work overtime as needed.
What You Will Do
* Loading: Operate loading equipment to load trucks and rail cars with fertilizer products.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
