This position is an entry-level position to the Telecom Line Worker position and will provide support in the construction and maintenance of line projects telecommunications lines and related equipment/structures/facilities both overhead and underground.
Starting pay for this position is $21-$24.50/hr.

Your Responsibilities:
* Develop a thorough knowledge of all relevant construction safety and maintenance operating standards/codes/policies/guidelines.
* Under supervision, progressively expand working knowledge/understanding of all types of line work following all construction safety and maintenance standards/codes/policies/guidelines. Tasks including, but not limited to:
+ working on/around energized lines and equipment (overhead and underground facilities),
+ installing and removing poles,
+ climbing transmission and distribution poles/structures,
+ assisting in the installation and maintenance of all equipment related to telecommunications poles/structures,
+ assisting in the installation of fiber optic cable (overhead and underground),
+ secures/operates tools, equipment and instruments of the trade and ensures required maintenance is performed.
* Learn to read, interpret, and work from sketches, diagrams, and work plans.
* Work with internal and external teams in a professional, courteous manner to meet all project requirements, inventory/equipment needs, and schedules including any required documentation.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet customer demands/schedule, including overtime and emergency duty as requested (nights, weekends, holidays).
* Perform other duties as assigned by management including leadership responsibilities when required.
What We Need From You (Our Requirements):
* Must have a valid Driver’s License with confirmed ELDT (Entry Level Driver Training) Course enrollment; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) highly preferred.
* High school graduate or equivalent; relevant college/technical school training or equivalent work experience highly preferred.
* Must have a demonstrated working knowledge/understanding of relevant utility design, construction, and maintenance including related equipment, safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and federal/state/local laws.

Job Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will verify product conformance to EVRAZ standard requirements and customer specifications using non-destructive testing methods, gauges, and visual inspection. You will investigate routine metallurgical problems, determine compliance with specifications and evaluate products utilizing microscope, hardness, and tensile machines. You will prepare samples using lathes grinders, cut-off machines, power saws, drill presses, milling and turning machines, polishing equipment, and measuring tools. You will work with various measuring devices, hand tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and necessary safety equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high regard for safety.
* Measure and visually inspect for adherence to process sheets, standard practices and specifications
* Verify, audit, identify and record product and equipment
* Review process sheets for customer order requirements
* Operates all equipment needed to complete the job which may include grinders, cutting torch, gauges, mobile equipment, and robotics
* Assist operators in change overs
* Reject, determine, disposition, sort and identify product
* Prepare necessary reports, records and counts for traceability and inventory purpose
* Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly
* Perform duties as needed in keeping mill operational, including routine maintenance and assists Maintenance personnel
* Adhere to all appropriate Standard Operating Procedures
* Utilize necessary safety equipment and observe all safety rules and lock out procedures
Job Requirements
* Possess an understanding of the basic manufacturing process and familiarity with heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining; or a closely related field
* Competent in manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes and spaces; able to take simple measurements and perform basic mathematical operations (e.g., addition, subtraction, division, decimals, fractions)
* Ability to accurately read precision measurement tools, experience with gauges, micrometers, NDT flaw detectors and machine shop equipment
* Qualified Level I non-destructive testing background or equivalent preferred
* Quality control experience in a manufacturing and metallurgical background; knowledge of ISO standards, preferred
* 4 year Technical Degree preferred
* Must meet and maintain Inspector entry level qualifications concerning literacy, experience, training, testing, courses and certification
* Ability to safely and appropriately operate, power and hand tools, machinery, and mobile equipment; 12 months experience preferred

Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Mill Electrical Technician to join our team at our plant located in Pueblo, Colorado.
As a Mill Electrical Technician (MET), you will provide all necessary electrical, electronic and combustion-instrumentation maintenance to all areas of the Mill in a safe and efficient manner.
This position reports to the Superintendent of Maintenance.
* $31.42 - Mill Electrical Technician - Trainee - must have the equivalence in one of three crafts which include combustion-Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman and Electrical Inspector (Maintenance Electrician)
* $34.00 - Mill Electrical Technician - Starter - must have the equivalence in two of three crafts which include combustion-Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman and Electrical Inspector (Maintenance Electrician)
* $36.96 - Mill Electrical Technician - Standard - must possess an electrical journeyman license or equivalent education/experience.
* Relocation Assistance available between $5,000- $10,000 depending on location

* Serve the function(s) of a Combustion-Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman and/or Electrical Inspector (Maintenance Electrician) depending upon training and certification
* Complete the RMSM training program to become skilled in all three of the crafts mentioned above
* Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle, assemble and install a variety of equipment throughout the mill
