This person will use multiple computer systems to track incoming product to ensure that production is maximized and quality maintained.

The Wood & Fiber Supply organization is key to ensuring that GP's 80+ mills maintain a constant flow of logs.
What You Will Do
* Receive inbound and outbound trucks utilizing a computerized system to record the supplier identification data, quality data, and the truck weights
* Inspect incoming loads to ensure quality wood specifications and recording the data for each load received at the mill
* Provide support for on-going safety and housekeeping processes
* Work with logging contractors and foresters to assist in correcting wood quality issues
* Maintain wood inventory level information
* Report daily usages and inventories to accounting, wood and fiber supply, and mill personnel
* Create and provide reports relative to wood inventories, deliveries, and wood quality
* Perform work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment

Il/la Supervisor, Warehouse Operations and Shipping, a riporto diretto del Manager di Supply Chain, supervisiona e supporta la propria squadra ai fine di garantire che le attività di magazzino e di import/export vengano condotte in linea con gli obiettivi aziendali e in accordo con le SOP di qualità.
COMPITI E RESPONSABILITA’:

* Svolge il proprio lavoro nel rispetto delle procedure aziendali e delle disposizioni di legge in materia di sicurezza sul lavoro e delle Norme di Buona Fabbricazione.
* Coordina un gruppo di operatori di magazzino, assegnando compiti operativi e assegnando priorità sulla base dei piani produttivi e di consegna ai clienti.
* Garantisce il rispetto delle GMP applicando le SOP dettate dalla qualità e assicura l’ottemperanza a tutte le prescrizioni di legge e alle politiche aziendali con riferimento specifico alle norme di sicurezza e tutela ecologica dell’ambiente.
* Monitora l’utilizzo corretto e ottimale delle risorse tecniche da parte dei propri collaboratori.
* Verifica costantemente il funzionamento di macchine e impianti inerenti all’area di stoccaggio e ne segnala tempestivamente eventuali anomalie alle funzioni preposte (Qualità e Manutenzione), partecipando alle indagini per identificarne le cause e suggerirne adeguate azioni di miglioramento e /o correzione.

Experience:
