What You Will Do
Some core responsibilities for a Carpenter include:
* Prepare the layout of the project.
* Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
* Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
* Utilize hammers, pry-bars, chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures.
* Work on ladders, and scaffolding.
* Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications.
* Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.
* Create structures for pouring concrete.
* Erect scaffolding.
* Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
Perform other duties as required.
* Aim to achieve high production with good quality output.

General Purpose

* Providing detailed planning and materials procurement for maintenance shutdowns and daily operations and/or annual outages within the facility, particularly in major areas.
* Developing and managing maintenance plans through Microsoft Project software and the SAP CMMS system, ensuring all information, such as Bills of Materials and specifications, is continuously updated.
* Supporting mill maintenance crews and contractors directly during maintenance shutdown days and outages, with an emphasis on efficient coordination and scheduling of mechanical maintenance work.

Georgia Pacific in Rincon, GA is currently recruiting for a Powerplant Training Leader for our Power Plant Utilities department.
The Powerplant Training Leader is a results-oriented leader who is responsible for coaching and building the skills and capabilities of the Utilities crew members with respect to Mechanical, Electrical and Operational Reliability.
The Powerplant Training Leader hours will typically be day shift Monday - Friday , however, they are expected to flex hours as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

What You Will Do
* Implement and manage our hourly operator technical training qualifications
* Develop and updated technical training content including SOPs, OPLs, and other reference material.
* Manage the development of our site-based hourly workforce
* Leverage knowledge base and established training and development processes to accelerate L&D programs within a corrugated facility
* Partner with site leadership to identify gaps, challenges and opportunities for training and development
* Prioritize and focus efforts on targeted opportunities that create the most value and impact in improving retention, growth, and development for key and critical positions.

* 1 or more year(s) of experience in the development, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives to support ongoing improvements in knowledge, skills, process, and engagement

What You Will Do
Some core responsibilities for a QC Welding Inspector include :
* Perform quality control functions with high regard to integrity on KSPS projects, including the development and execution of field inspection plans
* Develop skills, gain experience to be a site QC lead, which may include being a QC lead on a project
* Support development, maintain and keep digital record of quality packages for submittal to the client and KSPS corporate quality personnel
* Keep corporate and site quality personnel up to date on any quality issues, small or large
* Maintain a daily log / rollover log to keep quality informed of activities taking place on site
* Work with quality personnel on site, as needed, in an effective matter with respect and humility
* Material receiving and inspection and approval
* Oversight of third party NDE and heat treatment including review of documentation for accuracy of work
* Review of welder qualifications before execution of work
* Monitoring and inspection of field welds and flange make-ups for conformance with codes and maintaining weld and flange logs
* Perform in person field review of work being performed by KSPS personnel as required
* Interaction with KSPS engineering, client, and third-party authorized inspectors
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may require up to twelve hours a day, seven days a week for extended durations
* Must be able to work in confined spaces and be capable of climbing ladders, scaffolds and working at heights
* Must be able to perform work wearing personal protective equipment including but not limited to rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, FRC coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses, etc.
* Respiratory Protection Fit Testing and Pulmonary Function Testing is required.
Additional medical examinations, such as Fitness for Duty exams may be required per client guidelines.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges also may be required per client requirements.
