General Purpose

Easterseals-Goodwill provides quality in-home personal care services in Great Falls and rural communities.
Our goal is to offer support to help elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury, or individuals in transition from nursing homes to live independently in their own homes.
Works with Personal Care Coordinator, Medicaid Case Management Team, and other referral sources in implementing Personal Care Attendant Services and Private Duty Nursing Services to meet patient needs.
This includes recruiting, hiring, orientating, supervising Personal Care Attendants; evaluating patient needs and placing appropriate care attendant(s) to meet the needs of the patient; monitors personal care attendant services and recipient satisfaction.
Other duties include:
* Medication setup, administration, and education
* Vital sign monitoring
* Blood draws and lab specimen collection
* Catheter changes, care, and education
* Assesses and evaluates patient's condition; reports to Physicians and Personal Care Coordinator
* Collaborates with Physicians and Personal Care Attendants to plan care
Requirements
* Knowledge of the problems and needs of the elderly and physically disabled.
* Applicant must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
* Ability to implement and use computer software accurately and efficiently.
* Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
* Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
* Applicant must pass a background check and DMV check.
Experience
* Associate's degree
* 0-2 years in home care experience helpful, but not necessary.
* Current LPN licensure in the State of Montana
* Current CPR certification

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works in our Health Center. You can earn up to $22.00. Our CNAs provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by supervisor.
CNAs preserve residents’ dignity, honors resident’s rights, provides good customer service, communicates appropriately, and adheres to federal and state compliance regulations.

CNA ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
1.
Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
2.
Ensure that beds are made; trash has been removed, and a high level of hygiene is maintained in the room.
3.
Ensure that meals are served on time and assist residents with meals and feeding, if necessary.
4.
Take vital signs and report observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
5.
Practice infection prevention and control measures in compliance with Federal, State and facility requirements.
6.
Document in CNA ECS flowsheet promptly, accurately and comprehensively/thoroughly.
7.
Make routine and frequent rounds to ensure that safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
8.
Avoid development of skin problems or skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning of residents that need assistance.
CNA ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of Florida. One year of long-term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults. Must be CPR Certified.

We are seeking a Nurse (RN or LPN).
We are recruiting for Part-time for all 3 shifts.
A Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents in our Rapid Recovery Unit or Skilled Nursing and supervises day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with state and federal standards.
RN/LPN ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1) Assist in planning resident care by following physician orders
2) Implement resident care based on physician orders
3) Evaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders
4) Administer medication, IV's, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents
5) Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians
6) Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary
7) Respond to all emergencies
8) Schedule doctor's appointments and coordinate transportation for the residents. Includes scheduling labs and transcribing lab results
9) Supervise CNA's and LPNs as Charge Nurse - ensure they are providing resident care based on physician orders and defined care plans.
RN/LPN ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse.
Must be CPR Certified.
Experience and Basic Knowledge:
One year of long-term care desirable.
Med-Surg, Home Health experience helpful, experience working with the elderly, handicapped or developmentally disabled adults preferred.
Will train on-the- job in lieu of above experience.

medicines as defined by the nursing standards.
