Key Responsibilities
* Clinical Leadership: Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department.
* Staff Supervision: Mentor, supervise, and educate nursing staff to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
* Quality Assurance: Implement quality improvement processes to maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.
* Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and medication management protocols.
Requirements
* Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
* Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
