Alum Rock Counseling Center (ARCC) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist/Clinician II to provide mental health services to children, youth, and families through our School Based Outpatient Program (SBOP) in East and Central San Jose.
In partnership with local school districts, ARCCs SBOP program provides accessible, evidence-based mental health support designed to help youth overcome barriers that impact their academic success, emotional well-being, and family wellness.
Our team works with high-risk youth and families to provide early intervention, therapeutic support, and resources that promote resilience and positive outcomes.
Under the supervision of the SBOP Program Manager, the Therapist/Clinician II provides Medi-Cal appropriate specialty mental health services, including intensive outpatient and wellness services, to children, adolescents, and families with diverse needs.
The clinician supports youth experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, school attendance concerns, gang involvement, and other behavioral health challenges.
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with youth and families, values culturally and linguistically responsive care, and is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where young people can thrive.
This role requires flexibility and may include travel to various school sites throughout the service area to ensure youth receive care where they are most comfortable and connected.
