The HR Generalist performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level with both breadth and depth across all functional areas of HR .
This position primarily supports the Benefits Specialist by handling day-to-day benefits inquiries, assisting with open enrollment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Partners with benefit broker, insurance vendors and third party administrators to ensure vendors meet established service level agreements and respond to request for information.

* Designs communications, education, benefits reports and regulatory mailings (ex: Total Comp Statements, Open Enrollment, PTO Cash-out and ACA reporting) that highlight the value of our programs and changes.

* Supports retirement programs, performance and vendor relationships to maintain positive employee morale.
* Reviews and interprets hospital and department policies as well as union contract language in the administration of our reward program.
