Our Pediatric Nephrology team is comprised of kidney specialists who treat babies, kids and young adults with renal (kidney) problems.
We see and treat a wide range of kidney conditions and are active in researching the best ways to care for kids with these conditions.

Key Responsibilities
* Provides care to pediatric patients as guided by education, clinical expertise and Scope of Practice Agreement, including ambulatory, inpatient (acute) care, surgical first assist and pre- and post-operative management
* Elicits comprehensive or focused/interval health history
* Performs complete or interim physical examinations as indicated by the nature of the encounter
* Orders, performs, and/or interprets diagnostic or screening tests, including laboratory, radiological or other tests within the APP'S scope of practice
* Plans interventions including medications, treatments and procedures, and modifies plans based on evaluation of patient response.
* Initiates, monitors, alters or orders medications related to conditions or illnesses being treated within applicable divisions

5 West is a 24-bed unit has been designated as the Hematology/Transplant and Cellular Therapy and Endocrine unit for the Nemours/ Alfred I.
du Pont Hospital for Children.
This step-down unit provides inpatient care for pediatric patients requiring services from the Hematology/ Oncology, Transplant and Cellular Therapy, and Endocrine subspecialties.
Admitting diagnoses include but are not limited to leukemia, lymphoma, brain tumors, neuroblastomas, solid organ malignancies, sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, diabetes, and other types of genetic and immune disorders.
In addition, stem cell and bone marrow donors are cared for on this unit.

* Ensuring a clean and safe patient care unit, assisting patients with activities of daily life (bath, feed, play, etc.

Compass Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Peer Counselor to join our Child, Youth & Family Crisis Team (CYFCT) in Snohomish County.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Crisis Peer Counselor, you will provide vital peer support services during the NOC (overnight) shift, helping children, youth, adolescents, and their caregivers during behavioral health crises.
Under the guidance of the Program Manager, your work will focus on stabilization, advocacy, empowerment, and community-based support.
Your core responsibilities include:
* Offering emotional support, mentorship, and hope grounded in shared lived experience.
* Assisting clients with recovery planning, coping skills, and community living strategies.
* Helping clients access mental health, substance use, and peer support services, as well as basic needs.
* Supporting the natural support systems of clients-families, friends, and caregivers-through validation and education.
* Collaborating with clinical staff to monitor client symptoms, inform treatment goals, and provide holistic care.
* Advocating for the client's preferences and dignity in all interactions.
This is a community-based outreach role, meaning much of your work may take place outside traditional settings, including homes, schools, shelters, or other locations in the community.

We specialize in short-term crisis intervention and prevention services for youth and families, regardless of their funding source.

What You Bring to the Role
* Lived experience with a behavioral health or substance use condition (required).
* Current Washington State Peer Counselor Certification (preferred).
* Prior experience in a peer counselor or support role (preferred).
* Must meet DOH requirements as an Agency Affiliated Counselor if not already licensed/credentialed.
* Valid WA State Driver's License, a reliable vehicle, and proper insurance (if applicable).
* Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a deep desire to help others.
* Comfort working overnight shifts and in dynamic community-based settings.

What You Bring
* Peer Counselor Certification in Washington (preferred)
* Lived experience with behavioral health or substance use recovery (required)

Experience as a caregiver to a child with special needs who has received community services (required)
* Experience working as a peer counselor or in a related support role (preferred)
* Ability to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor status through WA State DOH upon hire (if not already credentialed)
