Adjust and manage claims brought against security companies, private investigators and alarm installation and monitoring companies, from receipt of claim or suit through resolution or trial/appeal.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:
* Provide early contact with insured to identify witnesses, employees, contracts, other relevant documents and to obtain insured’s knowledge of the allegations in the claim/suit.
* Analyze coverage for application to claim and prepare coverage position letters including reservation of rights, disclaimers, tender to other parties and acceptance of tenders to insured where appropriate.
Confer with internal and external coverage counsel where necessary to clarify coverage position and coverage litigation.
* Communicate with underwriting as to insured’s risk potential and for clarification of policy language intent.
* Maintain diaries for file tasks, settlement conferences, mediations, and trial.
* Oversee defense counsel from initial assignment of defense and throughout litigation to ensure timely reporting, confirmation of defense strategy and analysis of new developments.
Collaborate with defense counsel to develop early litigation or settlement strategy.
Ensured that Defense Counsel provides timely pretrial reports.
* Maintain claim files, notes and documentation which comply with both internal guidelines and external regulations to include analysis of liability, damages, adequacy of reserves and outline of plan or next steps.
* Prepare internal reports for file documentation and early identification of significant reserve increases for presentation to management and upper management for review.
* Communicate with manager as to critical new developments and significant reserve increase recommendations, and potential settlement recommendations above handler’s settlement authority.
* Timely communication and reporting of critical or new developments to exterior carriers including coverage, litigation developments, reserves, and potential settlement opportunities.
* Review and approve litigation budgets submitted by Defense Counsel.
* Regular review and updating of claim files that remain open but currently inactive and are not generating claim activity.
Evaluate inactive claims for closure and removal of reserves.
* Attend mediation and settlement conferences when required to facilitate and negotiate settlement.
* Monitor and approve/reject litigation expenses recommended by Defense Counsel.
* Prepare settlement drafts and review of releases for accuracy.
* This role may require occasional travel for matters that cannot be handled through video conference.

The Animal Services Department seeks a S helter Veterinarian Per Diem ( Veterinary Surgeon) for the Jurupa, San Jacinto, and Thousand Palms locations.
This position will perform a wide range of duties including spay/neuter responsibilities in a clinic/mobile environment, performance of various other small animal surgeries, and provision of medical oversight of impounded animals.
The most competitive candidates will have shelter medicine and high volume spay/neuter experience (training available for motivated candidates with interest in this field).
While the primary responsibility is the performance of sterilization surgeries (25-40/day) on shelter animals and privately owned pets, ample opportunity exists to perform other soft tissue or orthopedic surgical procedures to improve quality of life and adoptability of shelter animals.
In addition to surgical responsibilities, candidate will perform examinations, develop, and oversee treatment plans and medical progress of sick and injured shelter animals.

The Riverside County Department of Registrar of Voters is seeking an Elections Coordinator - Services for the Operations Division for the Riverside location .
PLEASE NOTE: The position may require full-time office presence for several months leading up to, during, and after elections due to the high workload.
The role may involve working weekends and holidays, including mandatory overtime during election and post-election periods.
Travel throughout the county may be required.
Outside of election season, employees may choose from a 4/10, 9/80, or 5/40 workweek schedule, with the option of a hybrid schedule based on business needs.
Flexibility working overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
The Elections Coordinator - Services will be responsible for overseeing and training the Training and Recruitment Unit (consisting of Election Officers and Temporary staff), as well as other full-time staff such as Election Technicians.
Additionally, the incumbent will be heavily focused on handling the coordination of training facilities including securing training facilities' contracts and agreements, maintaining relationships with community partners, and coordinating between several teams to ensure vote center operations are in compliance with internal procedures and election codes.
The incumbent will also oversee the preparation and distribution of election materials and supplies and will provide leadership on overarching high-level tasks to ensure successful election operations.
The most competitive candidate will have full time experience working in major election cycles (i.e.
presidential, mid-term), previous experience with training large audiences, and proficiency in Office Suite as well as editing software for visual aides.

We opened six new operating rooms that provide service line expansion, multi-specialty outpatient services, including Pediatrics and Robotic-Assisted surgery.
In this role you will assist the surgeons during procedures and provide patients with safe, effective care throughout the process of surgery.
To be successful in this role you will possess efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of operation procedures and patient safety, be a critical thinker and able to act quickly.
Full-Time Schedule (40 hours/week): four, 10-hour shifts per week NO nights! NO weekends! Major Holidays Off!
Wage: New hires generally start between $48.55-$61.85/hour and placement in the range is based on evaluation of qualifications and professional experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
* Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
* Ensure the surgical asepsis is adhered to during the surgical procedure,
* Conduct inventory of supplies and equipment used during and after the procedure.
* Collaborate with all members of the health care team.
Requirements:
* Current unencumbered WA State RN license required.
