Founded in 1966, the not-for-profit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is licensed for 48-bed acute care beds, admits 1,700 patients a year, receives 24,000 emergency room visits and nearly 30,000 outpatient visits per year.
The hospital is recognized for its Breast Imaging Center, the Ridley-Tree Center for Wound Management and the Center for Orthopedics.
The Radiology Manager is responsible for management of day-to-day operation of the Radiology Department and the Breast Imaging Center.
There are about 23 direct reports in the two departments.
The Radiology department provides inpatient and outpatient general radiology, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, DEXA, and CT scanning.
The department is a clinical training site for Radiology students from Santa Barbara City College.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Minimum: BA degree or comparable training and experience which provides skills to perform the job tasks completely.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
• Minimum: Valid certificate (CRT) from the state of California.

• Minimum: 5 years clinical radiology experience, 3 years supervisory experience

JOB PURPOSE
The position of Certified Phlebotomist Technician (CPT) for Pacific Diagnostic Laboratory (PDL) is the frontline public relations member of the laboratory team and needs to maintain appropriate professionalism in the work environment.
Under appropriate level of supervision, as required by regulatory agencies, the CPT assignments include: Phlebotomy, or other skin Cottage Health Job Description Page 2 of 5 puncture technique, collection in patients of ages newborn to geriatric (including difficult to draw patients), processing of all types of specimens, operating Laboratory and Hospital Information Systems for data entry, receiving, batching and retrieval, managing the unreceived specimen list and unusual requests, providing client services, and limited operation of automated instrumentation.
Due to various work environments within PDL, use of a personal vehicle to travel between work locations may be required.
