The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisors which is a Band 4 Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.
Description:
• Provide technical leadership to various internal projects including developing technical architecture to achieve more modular, cloud-centric, API and streaming driven architecture for agile delivery;
• Oversee creation of proof of concepts, drive innovation and integration of cloud-based software in a continuous delivery environment;
• Participate in Agile planning meeting, daily scrum calls, and retrospective calls for projects planning and successful delivery in agile methodology;
• Facilitate project level meetings with clients and provide technical leadership to the team setting the process guidelines and best practices;
• Document, test, implement and provide on-going support for applications conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives;
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME);

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computers or engineering;

• Experience assessing technical feasibility and solutioning of requirements;

• Design, develop, build and test hardware solutions implemented for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Robotic Decision Automation (RDA), Business Process Management (BPM) and document processing;
• Provide input regarding performance testing needs and creating metrics criteria;
• Work with Platform Support Team to administer product, environment, and technical support and maintenance for RPA tools;
• Triage and work on high priority production issues and drive them to resolution;
• Monitor infrastructure usage, capacity, and performance;
• Review technical notes and documents published by RPA & RDA product companies and determine applicability to the infrastructure in use;
• Execute Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) set-ups & configuration for Infrastructure Architecture (IA) projects;
• Assist with set-up of automation environments and communicate technical infrastructure requirements to deploy automation solutions;
• Collaborate with other technologists to evaluate and create proof of concepts for new technical solutions to drive and create enhanced business value;
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for each technical product as well as infrastructure support;
• Define and implement best practices for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes;
• Provide support to production and between environments for deployment of automation;
• Identify bottlenecks and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues;
• Triage issues by looking at logs, services, database calls, etc.; and
• Analyze and address all security alerts resulting from software scans, vendor tech notes and technical bulletins;

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems Engineering and Management, Computers, Engineering, or a related field;
• 3 years of experience as a Devops Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation;
• Experience setting up and managing automation processes with integration of SCM (Git/GitLab), Build Tool (Maven), and Artifactory;
• Experience setting up database automation pipeline for Oracle deployments;
• Experience setting up automation testing pipeline, code security scans, and OS monitoring tools (NagiOS, Splunk, and Dynatrace);
• Experience performing root cause analysis; and
• Experience using: Jenkins, PowerShell, Shell, Tomcat, Jboss, Cloud Technology Platforms (AWS, CPC, and Azure), Confluence, Pega RPA/RDA, Ansible, Blueprism, and Java.
