Position Summary
Nemours Children's is seeking a PRN Pediatric Psychologists with expertise in pediatric hematology and oncology.
These positions are vital in supporting the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, providing comprehensive psychological services to children and adolescents with blood disorders and cancer.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outpatient psychological care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients and their families at Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, FL.
* Provide inpatient consultative psychological services at Wolfson Children's Hospital, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
* Conduct psychological assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer evidence-based interventions for children coping with chronic illness and emotional challenges related to their diagnosis.
* Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, team meetings, and collaborative patient care planning.
* Support family adjustment and provide psychoeducation to patients, families, and medical staff.
* Engage in quality improvement initiatives and program development within the division.
Qualifications
* Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
* Completion of an APA-accredited internship with specialized experience in pediatric psychology.
* Postdoctoral fellowship or equivalent experience in pediatric hematology/oncology preferred.
* Current or eligible for Florida licensure as a psychologist.
* Demonstrated experience providing psychological services to children with chronic or life-threatening medical conditions.
* Demonstrates strong abilities in assessment, intervention, consultation, and working collaboratively across disciplines.

The Echocardiography Operational & Clinical Specialist, along with the Medical Director of the Echocardiography Lab, includes operational oversight of the echocardiography lab.
Together, this team maintains ICAEL lab accreditation for all services provided, coordinates equipment purchasing and budgeting within each budget cycle, coordinates equipment maintenance and repair with biomed/vendors, supports growth and outreach initiatives throughout the Delaware Valley service area.
The role helps maintain and grow partner (e.g.
Jefferson) relationships, supports interdepartmental relationships within Nemours, maintains the educational and CME structure of the lab, establishes and maintains a cadence of communication and process improvements with cardiology counterparts at Nemours-Florida, participates in procedural billing audits, and continuous improvement with other members of the operational teams (internal and external) , and works hand in hand with the Epic and Enterprise Imaging Informatics teams to manage and optimize the technical components of the performance, transfer, and reporting of an Nemours and non-Nemours echocardiograms.
Licensures and/or certifications:
* Active RCCS or RDCS (PE) Required; Active RDCS with Fetal Certification is preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association is required
* Associate degree is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience:
* Five years Echocardiographic Sonography experience is required.
* Familiarity with Syngo Dynamics Workplace, ScImage, Radiant, PACS, image transfer/reading platforms (or similar platforms) is required.
* Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
Echocardiography Sonographer Functions:
Actively completes echocardiographic examinations on inpatients and outpatients (ideally both fetal and transthoracic).
Completes echocardiographic examinations of inpatients together with an imaging cardiologist (transesophageal, epicardial).
*Role is expected to perform Echocardiography Sonographer duties a minimum of three days per week.
Functions in Partnership with the Echocardiography Lab Manager:
Development and maintenance of an educational program for partner site sonographers as well as regional sonographer schools.
Assumes responsibility for the coordination and integration of echocardiographic services within the cardiac center, within other departments, and with partner institutions staffed by Nemours cardiology.
Assists in maintaining echocardiography lab accreditation.
Supports and participates in national echocardiography lab quality improvement and assurance initiatives.

The Nemours Children's Cardiac Center seeks a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join the Division of Cardiac Critical Care at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.

Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, is seeking a to add a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist to our growing team in the Division of Neurology in Orlando.
Training is available for a Neuropsychologist with an interest in epilepsy.
The Neuropsychologist will spend the major part of their time completing epilepsy surgical work up including:
* Epilepsy presurgical work up
* Epilepsy post-surgical follow up
* Functional MRI testing
* Cortical mapping for localization of eloquent areas of the brain
The remaining time will be spent on patients with epilepsy, neuromuscular, developmental delay, neuroimmunology issues and other common neurological conditions.
We are currently developing an ambitious, multidisciplinary pediatric neurosciences program for Florida.
Our epilepsy surgery program is rapidly growing.
We have a great epilepsy team with 4 epileptologists, one functional neurosurgeon, 2 APPs, experienced EEG technologists and nurses.
We have a 6 bed EMU and ROSA.
We expect to be testing around 50 phase 1 patients a year.
At least 50% of the Neuropsychologist's time will be devoted to this work.
Additionally, this position will support other clinical programs like neuromuscular, neuroimmunology and headache.
The bulk of the current need is for general neurology patients with cognitive dysfunction and decline.
We have a busy outpatient practice with strong ancillary support including a dedicated Psychometrist, advanced practice providers (APP), nurses, certified EEG technicians, occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
Faculty is expected to cover the inpatient service in rotation.
The inpatient team includes adult neurology resident, pediatric resident and medical students and APPs in the EMU.
