Nemours is seeking an EEG Technician Assistant (Part-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.
This position's main purpose is to assist Neurodiagnostics department with basic health care and support to patients during their stay in unit.
This person will also hook up routine EEGs under the supervision of a Registered EEG Tech.
This is a position for students of an accredited EEG program to better situate them to graduate and qualify for EEG Technician Position.Ability to perform EEGs in Outpatient and Inpatient settings.
* Ability to learn and perform basic troubleshooting on EEG recordings such as replacing faulty electrode.
* Able to be trained in EPIC functions in relation to EEG lab.
* Prepare rooms for EEG procedure.
* Take vitals and dietary orders when needed.
* Additional duties and responsibilities within the EEG lab, as may be assigned on occasion by associate's supervisor or lead tech.
* Educates the patient and family regarding their stay in the unit, interacting according to patient's' level of understanding.
* Perform EEG hookups as well as fix or rewrap EEG hookup according to International 10-20 system.
* Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Minimum three (3) months of experience.
* Must be enrolled in an accredited program for Neurodiagnostics.
* Must obtain certificate of completion with one year of hire date.
* Must have communication skills.

Primary Responsibility:
Under general supervision, the Warehouse Order Selector will assemble and select cases from pick slots for store orders daily in an accurate, efficient, and productive manner and assemble orders onto plastic pallets using a Talkman and pallet jack.
What You'll Do:
• Prepare and load the voice template into the Talkman unit for a specific warehouse selecting location, ensure that all cases and pallets are properly identified with the correct store number, and perform count/exception on pick slot locations if quantities are less than those requested by the Talkman.
• Secure selected cases, conduct final pallet preparations by wrapping the selected load and applying shipping labels, and prepare assembled case pick pallets and move them from picking areas to a dock door or staging area.
• Perform visual and operational vehicle safety inspections, report unsafe vehicles to the shift supervisor or maintenance personnel, observe and report any other unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause employee and/or customer accidents, and correct these conditions when appropriate, all while complying with applicable occupational health and safety standards.
