JOB DESCRIPTION
Shipyard - Engineering Technician
I.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Engineering Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing engines and equipment onboard vessels and barges to ensure they are fit for service.
This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
II.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Perform preventive and routine maintenance on towboats and barge machinery/equipment ranging from oil changes to full engine overhauls.
2.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on-site.
3.
Provide electrical system repairs onboard vessels
4.
Execute non-routine maintenance onboard boats and barges as needed.
5.
This position requires the ability to work an on-call schedule including nights and weekends.
6.
This position may involve travel to multiple locations.

V.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
1.
High School Diploma required.
An associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
2.
Possess a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
3.
Hold a Valid Driver’s License.
4.
Minimum 5 years of experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment in the marine industry.
5.
Must have towboat repair experience.
6.
Knowledge of the following engines preferred: Caterpillar 3512B, Cummins, K19, K38, QSK50, QSK19.
7.
Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and diagnostic procedures.
8.
Familiarity with applicable code of federal regulations.
VI.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
2.
Ability of repetitive bending and stooping, lifting heavy marine equipment.
3.
Ability to lift & carry up to 75 pounds.
4.
Ability to work outdoors in all elements during all seasons.
5.
Capable use of safety gear including, but not limited to, hard hats, safety goggles, hearing protection, and steel toe boots.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Dismantles, cleans and reassembles assigned production equipment as needed per SSOP.
8.
Identifies and reports any equipment opportunities identified, reassembles and tests all production machines and equipment.

Must follow the proper steps of sanitation. Cleans and sanitizes areas of responsibility.
10.
Inspects all equipment after it has been cleaned
11.
Verify assigned area is ready for production to start after Sanitation is complete
12.
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
Job Specifications
1.
Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
2.
High school education or equivalent is preferred.
3.
OSHA knowledge is preferred.
4.
Work various shifts, including night shift, with some weekend work as required.
5.
Spanish Speaking is preferred.
6.
Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
7.
Basic arithmetic skills.

Primary Function
The Facility Engineer ensures the high quality and cost-effective maintenance and repair of our facilities.

The Lead Process Engineer is an integral part of the Value Stream Engineering Optimization Intimate Care & Facial (VSEO IC&F).

* Interacts frequently with Mill Operating Teams, Staff Manufacturing, Research & Engineering (R&E), safety, quality, planning, distribution, procurement, equipment suppliers and external service providers.
In this role, you will:
* Flow to work as part of the Value Stream Engineering Team. Expected to be able to support converting and manufacturing activities across all Intimate Care and Facial assets.
In the event of escalation, assist mill teams to return asset to target results.
* Drive the development and execution of asset OEE improvement plans.
Coordinate and lead targeted onsite action plans.
Provide hands-on assistance to onsite teams.
Significant presence at Family Care mills is expected.
* Support and implement strategy deployment process for capacity and capability liberation supporting the OEE Strategy, Supply Chain Priority Initiatives, and Cost Transformation requirements.
* Provide technical leadership of sector-wide initiatives that improve Supply Chain OEE.
* Ensure data integrity for key Supply Chain performance KPIs, including MIDAS-based OEE- and productivity-related metrics.

Guardian Glass is looking for an Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator to join our team at our float glass facility in Richburg, SC.
In this role you will utilize your broad environmental, health and safety knowledge to assist in building sustainable systems.
Ideally you will bring a strong environmental background, coupled with EHS manufacturing experience.
This position balances Safety and Environmental responsibilities.
What You Will Do
* Ensure compliance with all issued permits, with a heavy focus on air permit requirements
* Maintain required records for all environmental media
* Maintain required records for occupational health programs (ex.
Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Respirable Crystalline Silica, Radiation)
* Maintain required safety programs (ex.
Hazardous Energy Control, Hot Work, Hazard Communication, PPE, Confined Space)
* Aid incident investigations, root cause analysis, determining corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence, and share knowledge across sites to promote a proactive safety learning culture
* Update existing and develop new EHS training programs
* Review environmental concerns related to permitting activities for water, air and waste
* Assist with managing site risks including facilitating and reviewing risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and pre-startup safety reviews
* Partner with plant employees at all levels to build capability and ensure alignment to company Safety Vision and principles
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Experience working in a manufacturing/Industrial environment
* Experience with NPDES and/or Title V permits
What Will Put You Ahead
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
* Experience leading and developing EHS initiatives and programs
* Experience with NPDES permits, Title V permits, LQG Operations, and environmental reporting (TRI, Emissions Inventory, GHG, Biennial Hazardous Waste, Tier II, discharge monitoring reports)
* Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Production Associate I will primarily work in a production environment processing and sorting donated items following company quality standards and guidelines to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor to be sold.
This process includes pricing and testing guidelines as required.
The Associate is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion.
The Associate may occasionally be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service.

As a Machine Operator II you are responsible to use computer numerically controlled machinery safely and accurately and the ability to work with great concentration and precision.
