This is a full-time (40-50 hours/week), limited-term role for the duration of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
* The Construction Site Manager will act as the Owner’s Representative coordinating Owner personnel on-site including Health, Safety, and Environmental personnel, quality observers, and other service providers while on-site nearly 100 percent of the time when construction activities are taking place.

ARA is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to operate, maintain, and repair specialized pavement data collection equipment for highway infrastructure assessment.
This is an occasional/as-needed position in our office in Ventura, CA.
No previous pavement testing experience is necessary; training will be provided.
Applicants should possess good communication skills, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and be challenged.
This position involves travel throughout the U.S.
and requires an excellent driving record and driving skills, mechanical ability, and basic computer knowledge.
When not traveling, technicians perform office-based activities, such as equipment maintenance and data processing.
What you will do as a staff civil engineering technician:
* Participate in pavement testing and other transportation infrastructure data collection projects throughout the U.S.
Travel will likely be over 90% of the work hours for this position.
* Learn operation, calibration, and maintenance of modern data collection equipment.
