PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for managing Compressed Air Service Parts and Service Operations. Responsible for planning, developing, and organizing an effective, efficient work force designed to accomplish projected sales volume, required profit, and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1.
Manage budget and expenses, monitor financial reports and profit goals for both Parts and Service Operations.
2.
Resolve customer complaints by taking prompt and appropriate action to maintain excellent customer relations promoting a superior customer experience.
Encourages associates to be fair, courteous, honest and appreciative of our customers’ business.
3.
Control Shop & Field Service maintenance by daily monitoring and controlling labor and parts cost to meet required profit goals.
4.
Ensure productive scheduling and dispatching of all service technicians to perform daily service/repairs.
5.
Open and close all service calls for Compressed Air Service.
6.
Monitor work order closings to ensure invoicing occurs within 10 days of last labor on all service calls.
Service calls must have all accounts checked for accuracy, completeness ensuring timely processing and closing.
7.
Monitor all warranty work orders for proper administration of claims to manufacture.
8.
Ensure all warranty and policy decisions are mutually fair to the customer, the manufacturer and Gregory Poole.
9.
Adequately ensure offices, shops, yards, vehicles, tools and other company property are properly maintained in a professional and safe manner to promote excellent customer service.
10.
Ensure compliance of all corporate policies. Monitor all phases of department’s operations, performance and customer satisfaction.
11.
Perform employee evaluations in a timely manner and ensures proper administration of wages and salaries for both service and parts personnel.
12.
Schedule all needed training classes for technicians and parts personnel.
13.
Prepare annual service and parts department budget and objectives and capital expenditures requests for approval by Compress Air Business Manager.
14.
Provide technical assistance for service and parts departments when possible.
15.
Maintain managerial contact and support for technicians, resolving various problems and promoting customer contact and participates in meetings to promote Gregory Poole and our OEM partners.
16.
Coordinate with the sales department on any start ups or sales related issues in which the service department may be involved.
17.
Assist the sales department with special projects and technical problems, as needed.

Short Description Restoration Estimator
Alberici Constructors Ltd.
is seeking a Restoration Estimator to join our growing team based out of Burlington, Ontario.
This role is responsible for preparing detailed estimates for restoration and rehabilitation projects across ICI (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional) buildings, including work related to exterior building envelopes, masonry repairs, and concrete restoration.
The Restoration Estimator will review drawings, specifications, and site conditions, perform quantity take-offs, coordinate supplier and subcontractor pricing, and support the preparation of competitive bids.
The successful candidate will have experience estimating restoration or rehabilitation projects and a strong understanding of building envelope systems and structural repair scopes.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Restoration Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed estimates for building restoration and rehabilitation projects within the ICI sector.
This includes scopes such as exterior envelope repairs, masonry restoration, concrete repair, and structural rehabilitation.
Typical projects may involve masonry repairs, facade rehabilitation, concrete formwork and structural concrete repair, and other exterior building envelope restoration work.
The estimator will review drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates.

This role is responsible for preparing detailed mechanical estimates for construction projects, including HVAC, piping, and related mechanical systems.
We are looking for someone with experience working for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor, who understands how to build mechanical estimates and submit bids to general contractors.
The Mechanical Estimator will complete quantity take-offs, price labour and materials, coordinate supplier and subcontractor quotes, and support competitive bid submissions.

This role is focused on mechanical estimating from a subcontractor/self-perform perspective rather than general contractor estimating.
The estimator will review drawings and specifications, perform mechanical take-offs, obtain supplier pricing, and build complete estimates to support project bids.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Assembler III is a member of the assembly team and is responsible for following standard work to assemble a wide variety of mechanical units in a safe manner.
The Mechanic III works as member of the larger plant assembly team and may flex to any of the departments or work stations as volume dictates. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Utilize standard work to assemble mechanical support assemblies in a safe and quality conscious manner eliminating risk of damage.
* Meet daily production goals as assigned.
* Safely operate JIB cranes to lift, move, and position components.
* Assist with the replenishment and organization of the work area.
* Build and fabricate units according to blue prints and shop drawings
* Actively learn all skills necessary to become a world class mechanic.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* Competent in math including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractional computations, and fraction to decimal conversions.
* Ability to use hand held measuring tools including tape measure, micrometer, and protractor.
* Competent in reading blue prints and reference drawings.
* Working command of the English language, both written and spoken.
* Safely use drills, nail guns, impact wrench and other small power tools as required.
* Know how to correctly fill out In Process Inspections and any other paperwork as required.
* Demonstrated ability to operate JIB cranes; achieved through required certification.
* Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, lift trucks and jib cranes as required.
* Knowledge of all safety requirements and adherence to safety standards.
