Summary/Purpose:
Direct and coordinate the Holland manufacturing operations department or shift to meet company standards as to SAFETY, quality, quantity, cost, schedules and profitability.
Serves as the primary conduit for fostering a safe work environment consistent with company philosophy and objectives.
This role will be onsite Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1.
Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of forming employees; ensures their ability to SAFELY operate equipment to produce product; Counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary.
Develops & mentors shift LEAD to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew.
2.
Be alert to existing and potential production problems and take necessary corrective action.
3.
Maintain shift reports/records; ensure that necessary operating supplies/materials are on hand.
This is to include LN transactions and MUV reporting.
4.
Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the manufacturing mission in a SAFE, effective and efficient manner.
Interview and recommend applicants for hire as forming employees.
5.
Collaboration with other employees at all levels to develop and install methods, improvements and cost saving ideas.
6.
Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
7.
Ensures that established company Safety Philosophy, policies, rules, regulations and procedures are followed.
8.
Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees’ safety, and housekeeping of the entire operations area and meeting productions quality and quantity standards on the shift.
9.
Off-shift Production Supervisors will coordinate the activities of support department personnel assigned to the same shift.
10.
Responsible for the review and approval of Kronos clocking for assigned associates in Operations.
11.
Participates and supports monthly Safety Committee Meeting as well as weekly and monthly workplace inspections.
12.
Responsible for budgets and business planning for department and responsible for establishing and meeting department goals and objectives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 6-8 employees in the Production and/or Quality Control and/or Material Handlers.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's Safety Philosophy, policies and applicable laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on challenging terrain.

* Working knowledge of sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills (e.g., NWI, USGS, aerial photography).
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

ERM is hiring Lead Wetland Delineators for projects located from West Texas to Central Louisiana. The role of a wetland delineator requires technical skills, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
Field crews will conduct fieldwork in a safe manner in alignment with ERM and the client’s safety expectations.
This is a full-time (60 hours/week), limited-term role with a duration of 10-12 weeks.
