Optometrist, PT (PC) - Twenty Ninth Street (Sunday/Monday Only)

Warby Parker is looking for a patient-focused and dynamic Part-Time Optometrist to join one of its affiliated independent optometry practices.

The practice is adjacent to a Warby Parker retail location.

You will practice under the clinical direction of the practice's supervising optometrist(s).

The ideal candidate is a true team player and strong communicator with a passion for delivering remarkable vision care in a collaborative environment who strives to exceed patient expectations and has a great attitude all the while.

What you'll do:


* Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations in line with established clinical protocols and standards of care


* Partner with the store team to create an exceptional patient experience while working together to grow the eye exam business at your location


* Prescribe eyewear, contacts, and eye health solutions tailored to each patient's needs, and educate them on their options.

Diagnose and treat a variety of vision conditions, including refractive error and ocular health assessments, while ensuring accuracy to help patients see (and feel) their best


* Share eye care knowledge with the team to help them confidently support patients throughout their journey


* Be a visible and engaged clinical presence to reinforce our commitment to eye care, strengthen brand awareness around exams, and ensure a seamless, elevated patient experience


* Use modern digital exam lanes and EMR tools to streamline care and ensure precision, striving for an excellent patient experience


* Support key performance goals by delivering excellent clinical care


* Collaborate closely with the Store Leader to align on goals and strategies to build a strong OD + store team partnership


* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient examinations and treatments in compliance with regulatory standards and practice protocols


* Maintain State Licensure in good standing and meet all Continuing Education/State requirements


* Serve as a brand ambassador by educating and inspiring patients and team members, reinforcing our leadership in eye care within the community


* Perform other tasks as needed to provide an exceptional patient experience

Who you are:


* A Doctor of Optometry licensed in the state where you practice, in good standing
