Job Description:

Position Summary:

 

The VMD Regional Lead will be responsible for operational excellence initiatives within the region, focusing on the management and enhancement of our supplier master data.

This pivotal role will encompass supplier onboarding and maintenance, ensuring data quality, and maintaining compliance with global procurement policies.

The role’s scope of responsibilities include:

Leadership & Strategy:


* Lead the execution of VMD initiatives in the region, ensuring alignment with business objectives.


* Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.


* Act as a point of contact for vendor data inquiries and provide support for cross-departmental projects.

Process Improvement:


* Identify opportunities for process improvements to improve the quality and accuracy of master data, ensuring seamless business operations.


* Implement best practices and standardized processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Operational Governance, Audit, Reporting


* Oversee VMD KPI targets and prepare E2E metric reports for leadership to assess team performance and any support needed.

 


* Develop actional plans to ensure that both internal and external end-users complete necessary actions, minimizing delays in VMD cycle time.


* Collaborate with various market stakeholders to understand vendor master data requirements and resolve data-related issues.


* Collaborate with cross-functional procurement teams to proactively address issues and initiatives.


* Conduct root-cause analysis on master data integration issues, collaborating with technical teams for swift resolutions.


* Ensure vendor data policies and procedures are documented, communicated, and followed within the team, ensuring periodic reviews of SOPs.


*  Perform SOX controls reports ensuring completeness and accuracy and timely reporting each month.


* Support adhoc audit activities as required.
