Responsibilities



* Design and develop cloud-based search solutions that power both our digital channels and in-store systems


* Create robust, high-performance microservices that can withstand enterprise-level traffic


* Collaborate with a tight-knit team of elite developers through peer design and code reviews


* Troubleshoot complex problems with minimal supervision


* Mentor less experienced team members while continuously growing your own skills


* Work directly with product owners to understand their needs and to shape the future of our technology stack


* Operate in an Agile environment focused on incremental, high-impact delivery

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team


* Are you an Enterprise-level Developer?


* Enterprise mindset with a startup-like passion for innovation


* Outstanding problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking - you thrive on complex technical challenges


* Quality obsession - you write code that's robust, testable via automation, and maintainable


* 8-15 years of hands-on software development experience, including:


* 5+ years of Java


* 2+ years of Spring framework, Spring Boot


* 3+ years of Python


* 3+ years of Cloud Development in GCP (preferred) or other Cloud environments


* Experience with modern SCM tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field


* Self-driven attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies


* Wait, isn't Search experience required?! No, we'll teach that to you if need be.

We need great developers who write great code!

Bonus Points


* Experience with search technologies like Solr (preferred) or Elasticsearch


* Retail industry or Supply Chain System experience


* Unix Shell Scripting
