Principal Development Specialist

The County of Riverside's Housing and Workforce Solutions (HWS), Housing Authority, is seeking a qualified Principal Development Specialist to oversee the Special Programs Team in Riverside.

This position will administer projects under the Housing Authority and the Office of Homeless Services.
The Principal Development Specialist will oversee the management of various federal, state, and local grant funded programs.

This will include ensuring programmatic and fiscal compliance, managing contracts associated with the program, and support a team of approximately 30 staff and working alongside other homeless service providers to coordinate services throughout the county.

This position will require the incumbent to travel to various offsite locations to attend community meetings throughout all supervisory districts and to provide training to other service providers and partner agencies.

The most competitive candidates will have previous experience working with homeless services, developing programs, and ensuring program compliance for federal, state, and local funded programs.
