Regional Personal Training Manager

Summary Objective: The Regional Personal Training Manager will increase personal training revenue utilizing the abilities and resources of the Fitness team, supervise and insure compliance for implementation of all company initiatives, and develop current staff as well as help in the recruiting effort to increase our personal training staff.  The position provides guidance and leadership for all staff to ensure professional, effective and efficient operations of the department and creates an environment that significantly contributes toward each member’s health and fitness goals.  The Regional Personal Training Manager serves as a liaison between Senior Management and club personnel and provides consistent and accurate information to all General Managers and Fitness Directors.

Essential Functions:

* Deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience to every member, every time

* Develop Fitness Staff and assist in Fitness Recruiting efforts to gain qualified and diverse applicants

* Meet and exceed all Fitness goals for appropriate clubs

* Implement and supervise the successful rollout of fitness programs to all appropriate clubs

* Track personal training performance including goal setting and on-going feedback and coaching

Job Responsibilities:

* Assist General Managers in recruiting, hiring, and training Fitness Directors at assigned clubs

* Assist Fitness Directors in recruiting, hiring, and training fitness staff at assigned clubs

* Assist General Managers in coaching, supervising, and disciplining Fitness Directors at assigned clubs

* Assist Fitness Directors in coaching, supervising, and disciplining fitness staff at assigned clubs

* Introduce, expose and teach the most up to date, safe, fun and efficient methods of training.

* Implement and manage programs which actively recruit and retain personal training clients

* Conduct weekly conference calls and monthly meetings with Fitness Directors to track performance.

* Increase current and new member participation in personal training, group personal training, nutrition counseling, and other related activities

* Assist clubs in generating new revenue sources in fitness and programming

* Review club budgets and goals and track progress

* Supervise Smart Starts to ensure new members experience the on-boarding process according to company expectations

* Ensure that all personal trainers remain current with CPR and approved national certifications

* Prepare and present persuasive and effective meetings

* Participate in annual budget process as assigned

* Respond to member concerns effectively and within 24 – 48 hours

* Provide feedback as part of management team to ensure effective club operations, cleanliness, & staff relations according to company standards

* Exercise good judgment in all activities and duties

* Attend all required meetings

* Assume other duties as assigned
