Cisco Network Engineer


Plan and implement activities to deliver Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) and workstation services for the entire healthcare facility.

Provide technological leadership and support for the cost effective use of computers, software and networking to include installation, training and problem resolution.

Will provide advanced level technical expert in the area of network support and/or software development.

Incumbent has a primary responsibility for projects and support functions, including coordination of projects, and workflow; decision making authority on large system design and high level problem solving.

Responsible for troubleshooting, implementing, designing, and supporting a primarily Cisco platrom including Cisco Wi-Fi network.

Incumbent support for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of local and wide area network routers, switches , and networking compoenents.

Independent responsibility for implementing and supporting a complex network design, and network components, including configuration, maintenance, and design Additional responsibilities may include working on new projects, assisting with projects to deploy networks to new buildings, assisting with projects to deploy wireless to existing buildings, working with the Telecommunications and Voice networking teams for resolution of wireless VoiP issues, assistance with general Unified Communications departmental projects, support requirements, on-call assignments, projects, and design/engineering efforts that impact the Enterprise WAN/LAN/Wireless.
