POSITION SUMMARY
Identify, document and support implementation of efficient business solutions.
This includes gathering business requirements, facilitating business workgroups, business process modeling and interfacing with health plan and corporate departments
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors Degree in related field such as Business or Finance; or equivalent combination of relevant education & experience.
Experience:
* Three to five years experience in managed care operations and business processes
* Experience in business analysis
* Experience in process improvement, desirable
* Proficiency with PC-based systems, including Microsoft Excel and Access, and the ability to learn new information systems and software programs
Licensure/Certification: Certified Business Analysis Professional CBAP), desirable
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Analyze and understand business problems
* Meet with MHW departments and subject matter experts to elicit, define and document business requirements
* Ensure that business requirements are traceable and testable
* Assist MHW departments in resolving system issues
* Facilitate business workgroups for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations and information process flow
* Model business processes, including AS-IS and TO-BE diagrams
* Act as liaison between business stakeholders, end users and the IT solution team
* Prioritize and coordinate assigned projects in order to ensure timely completion
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Complies with required workplace safety standards
Additional Skills and Knowledge
* Assertive, organized and self-starter
* Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines
* Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to new ideas and approaches
* QNXT system experience
* Proficient knowledge of SQL, preferred
* Communicate effectively (written and spoken)
Maintain positive interactions with health plan and corporate departments
