SQL DBA - Clinical Information Systems

Clinical Information Systems individual will be called upon to analyze report specifications and design and implement an efficient data model to support requirements.

The scope of data analysis encompasses structured healthcare data, “extract, transform, and load” (ETL) processes and the reporting data model.

This position requires broad experience with designing and implementing large relational database management systems utilizing stored procedures, triggers, and data marts/summary tables with an emphasis on the creation, optimization and execution of Health System-wide reporting.
Requirements:
Experience in the design, architecting, implementation and support of relational databases using SQL (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server or similar).

Health care industry experience with Epic clinical and reporting systems preferred.

Crystal Reports/Business Objects and Clarity support or reporting experience is a plus.

Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools is preferred.

Knowledge and support of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies is necessary.

Position located in Northern California.
