The YMCA Theatre Company produces youth musicals, plays, and live shows inspiring a love of theatre and performance in children and youth with locations based in Salem MA.
Each season the YMCA Theatre Company puts on up multiple productions with children ages 6-16.
On a regular day you will provide day to day oversight during rehearsals by instructing ensembles, coaching and guiding singers, conducting vocal warm-ups, and accompanying the production team during rehearsals and performances.
You will assist in set and breakdown of rehearsals as needed, communicate progress of musical production and needs, and act as a recognizable face of our Theater team.
To thrive in this position, you have experience supporting the supervision of youth at play or in a structured program.
You are a trained pianist with the ability to coach and guide youth on musical numbers and vocal performances.
You are creative and have the ability engage children in activities that inspire interest and maintain their attention.
