About the role

This role is responsible for:


* Manage partners to ensure reliable, predictable and sustainable delivery of wine to TWE specification.


* Supporting the development of long term sourcing plans to deliver growth ambition


* Work to TWE policies and safe work practices at TWE and partner sites


* Ensure TWE’s China COO sourcing and winemaking activities are undertaken in accordance with TWE policy and processes


* Working with partners and growers to ensure grapes are sourced to TWE requirements and quality targets, including
+ Assessing fruit for maturity, quality and compliance with TWE standards
+ Co-ordinating pick decisions, intake logistics and winery planning


* Working with winery partners to ensure fruit is processed to TWE requirements and style, including


* Participate and be actively involved in tastings that are required to check quality of bottled wine and develop the portfolio of wines the winery is responsible for


* Develop and maintain a system for capturing information of potential available fruit and processing capacity within regions


* Source, compile and provide information (reports, presentations, proposals, etc) to support planning and operational requirements 


* Partner and build relationships with key external suppliers (transport carriers, industry bodies).


* Onboarding new growers


* Managing grower’s adoption of TWE “best practice” models and protocols (e.g.

pruning, yield management, disease management, sustainability)


* Co-ordinate vintage vineyard and fruit grading practices, procedures and reporting


* Functional responsibilities as required to manage production steps in the winery.
